attract thousands to Scugog Shores
Museum for the annual dog days
fundraising event for the museum.

Dozens of vendors, selling every conceivable treats for dogs were kept busy during the Dog Days of Scugog weekend held on July 17, 18 at the Scugog Shores Museum on Scugog Island. Hundreds of dog lovers and their pooches, converged on the museum grounds to enjoy watching dogs compete in a variety of competitions. Pictures on this page show some of the action during the popular two-day event.

Meet Neco and Luke, two papillon therapy dogs that were getting lots of attention as they were wheeled around Scugog Shores Museum.




This spunky jack russle terrior named “Tactix” loved competing in the DockDogs competition and he’s seen here making a big splash as he jumped into the pool.


This beautiful lab sails through the air to get his toy which had been thrown into the water, during the DockDogs competition.



Teague weaves his way through the poles in the agility competition at the Dog Days of Scugog, held at the Scugog Shores Museum.

Gemini, the gentle bullmastiff was a suprise contestant in the “Agility” compeition at Dog Days of Scugog. But here Gemini shows his stuff, jumping over one of the bars.
