Manchester, Ontario

Canada introduced the postcard in 1871, but they became very popular during the early

part of the 20th Century. Following are some of the many postcard pictures taken

in and around Port Perry during this period in history.

Manchester G.T.R. station, south of the village.

Manchester Grand Trunk Railway Station and elevator, just south of Concession 3, on the east side of Hwy. 7&12.

S.H. Christian's store, Manchester, 1913.

Manchester Public School.

Looking east towards Port Perry.
